Boys' choir will participate in "Songbridge project at the festival EUROPA CANTAT XVI" in Mainz, Germany this summer (July 29 - August 3).
Songbridge is a non competitive forum for international co-operation between children's and youth choirs and contemporary composers.
Created by Professor Erkki Pohjola (Finland) in 1999, it gives an opportunity to open-minded conductors to work hand in hand with qualified composers and then, to create through music, new messages and new models for the worldwide movement of children’s and youth choirs.
It also provides a unique experience to young singers from different countries to live, work, play together and learn about each others cultures and music, as well as develop friendship and mutual respect.
For the festival EUROPA CANTAT XVI in Mainz it was decided to organise a Songbridge project with equal voice boys’ choirs from different parts of Europe in order to further encourage the singing of boys.
