Marie N is the most popular last years' young singer in Latvia. She also has won the first prize in the Eirovision 2002.
Her debut album "Look into the eyes" gained the Golden Disc within the short period of two weeks.
The CD was created in the period of 3 months. Music is gentle, filled with elation and conviviality. Only one song is really Christmas song – "Ziemassvētku zvani" ("The Christmas Bells").
The compositor is Niks Matvejevs, songs are set specially for Marie N and there are also compositions by Marie N itself and Raimonds Pauls.
Arranged by N.Matvejevs. His ideas has realized Elīna Garanča, Rīgas kamermūziķi (conductor Normunds Šnē) and the Jāzeps
Mediņš music school boys' choir (conductor Romāns Vanags).
R.Vanags told that this is a kind of work he did non-overly, nevertheless he sometimes include some nonacademic compositions in the choirs' repertoire. Offer about the CD was haphazard, but boys' voices good belong and revive common chime.
